Birthing Centres

  • Hoske Birthing Centre

    In 2015, the Hoske Health post in Kavrepalanchok was destroyed by the earthquake. Clinic Nepal rebuilt the Health post and added a Birthing Centre. This project has helped reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. It is now fully managed by the local government, both centers continue to serve their communities with improved healthcare. This was a joint collaboration with NAWA.

  • Kopila Birthing Centre

    In 2021, the Kopila Birthing Centre was built in the Kailash Rural Municipality-8, Makawanpur, in collaboration with NAWA, it has brought hope to the community. Now, the local government independently manages the center.

  • Panauti Suwashtha Chauki Birthing Centre (renovation)

    Panauti Birthing Centre was made from an empty building left over from Covid times. Clinic Nepal renovated the existing building in 2022, and turned it into a Birthing Centre for the Panauti community. This was a joint venture with the Nepalese Army wives’ association.
